By using Segment and Mixpanel, we built a dynamic solution with low running costs that provides a transparent view of all the operations and growth within the business for management. Additionally, this data architecture serves as the foundations for becoming a data-driven business by plugging in deeper reporting and analysis capabilities, and can allow for the development of operations automation.
At Startupbootcamp, Matthew was the Global Marketing Manager. In this role, he managed channels with nearly 100,000 combined followers, and built editorial systems to manage content request and approval process for over 40 staff members. Additionally, Matthew managed product roadmap and development resources to build a data platform used by all Startupbootcamp programs for investment scouting, application management, and data analysis. During his time at Startupbootcamp, Matthew processed and analyzed more than 10,000 startup applications, and drove a nearly 2x increase in applications received per program. He additionally managed conference relationships and speaking engagements, booking keynotes at events such as Startup Grind, Web Summit, TechCrunch Disrupt, and Collision
